Hello ISA New Orleans Section!
Just a reminder that we will kick off our 2017/18 ISA New Year with a Member Meeting and Technical Presentation this Tuesday, September 12 at The Reynolds Company in Harahan. Please join us at 11:30AM to socialize and grab lunch. We will begin the meeting and presentation promptly at noon. As mentioned in my last message, the meeting will be free for all ISA Members and only $10 for non-Members. Additionally, we will web-simulcast the meeting for those who cannot attend live.
We will start the meeting with announcements on section activities and events and will move into a technical update on ISA101, a standard for Human-Machine Interfaces. I have been involved with ISA101 as an Informational Member since 2013. I will present an overview of the Standard for Human Machine Interface Lifecycle Management and give an update on Working Groups for HMI Philosophy and Style Guide Development, Usability and Performance, and the use of Mobile Devices.
