Join us as we start a new series of seminars that look at current engineering education programs at Louisiana universities and colleges that focus on industrial automation related career paths.
The Industrial & Engineering Technology (IET) department at Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU), offers degree programs in Engineering Technology and Industrial Technology. Both degree programs provide concentrations for automation and mechatronics curriculum.
In this seminar we will learn more about how the SELU I&ET department prepares their students for the our modern workforce with hands-on labs in automation and mechatronics.
About our presenter:
Dr. Mohammad Saadeh, is a the Head of Southeastern’s Industrial & Engineering Technology Department, and holds an interest in mechatronics, control and dynamics, robotics, and instrumentation.
Dr. Saadeh holds a BS in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Jourdan, a MS in Mechatronics Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia, a MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a PhD in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
