I want to welcome everyone to our 2021/2022 program year! Just a little delayed thanks to Hurricane Ida.
I am excited to serve as the New Orleans Section President for this upcoming term. I thank you and appreciate your support. I also want to extend a huge thank you on behalf of the entire New Orleans Section to the dedicated service of our outgoing Section President, Dean Bickerton. Dean has worked relentlessly over the past several years to keep the ISA New Orleans Section viable and engaged within the community. Fortunately for us, Dean is not going away, as he remains a vital member of our section’s board. And Dean will be taking on a larger role within the district as District Vice President Elect. Congratulations, and once again thank you!
It’s also exciting to report that we have several new board members volunteering for the first time this term. Welcome to the team, and we all look forward to working with you.

As we start our program year, we still face the many uncertainties and the “new normal” that the coronavirus pandemic has brought about. For the foreseeable future we will continue to offer our technical seminars as online only. It is everyone’s hope that one day soon we can all meet up again for lunch.
