Fellow members,
We are well into the holiday season and I hope that every-one is enjoying this special time with family and friends. It is the time of year to be thankful for our blessings and to share joy with everyone around us.
Our speaker for December will be Mrs. Judy Phillpott, and she will be discussing a matter that I’m sure we’re all very passionate about. The topic of “Taxes.” The December meeting is what we typically refer to as Manager’s Night. The meeting is not intended for managers only. Rather, it is an opportunity for members to invite their supervisors to our meeting for a networking opportunity. It also allows them to gain a better understanding of what the ISA is all about. Manager’s Night does not usually feature a technical presentation.
I would also like to give out an early reminder that our January meeting will be the Section’s Annual Honors and Awards Banquet. The ceremonies will be held on 15 January 2016 at the Southern Yacht Club in New Orleans. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
Again, I hope everyone is able to enjoy this holiday season and I’m looking forward to meeting with you at future ISA events.
