Hello ISA New Orleans Section members!
As I write to you today, it is my last day as President of the ISA New Orleans Section. It was a great honor and privilege to serve as the Section’s President over these past three years.
At the beginning of June, we called for volunteers to nominate themselves, or others, to run for the Section’s President. After that call for nominations, and a qualifying period, I am happy to announce that we will have a new president for the 2024/2025 term.
Only one nomination was received, and I welcome Dean Bickerton as our new Section President! Dean’s term starts effective July 1, 2024.
Dean has served as Section President previously in 2004/2005, 2013/2014, and again from 2017 to 2021. Dean has also served as the ISA Southern North America District Vice President in 2022 and most recently on ISA’s Executive Board starting in 2023. Having Dean’s previous experience as Section President, and his relations with the ISA District, Division, and society leaders will help our section grow during his upcoming term.
We also want to welcome two new members to the New Orleans Section’s board. Mario Munoz with James Controls, and Nash Johnson with Schneider Electric. Both Mario and Nash are coming in with great passion and interest in being involved with ISA.
I want to thank all of our members for continuing to support ISA and the local ISA New Orleans Section.
