Happy New Year!
It is my hope that everyone had a safe and happy holiday season.
As we start 2022. I’m excited to see what we can achieve as a section. I’m also excited to announce that our first technical seminar will be a look at the FIRST robotics program, and how we as an ISA community can get involved.
Our mission as ISA is to advance technical competence by connecting the automation community. One way that our local community can give back and help fulfil that mission is to learn more about, and get involved with FIRST. ISA is a strategic alliance partner with FIRST on the national level. At a local level, we can have a significant impact in the community by creating more teams, engaging more mentors, and reaching out to more students as an alliance partner.
In this technical seminar, we will learn more about the FIRST program from representatives of the local FIRST Louisiana-Mississippi organization.
Our January Technical Seminar will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, starting at 12:00 pm, and will be an online seminar only using the Zoom Meeting platform.
